Anti-frictional wear-resistant composite materials designed to help with bearing friction losses in oil drilling, compressors, heavy machinery and transportation

Years of research have enabled us with materials whose wear-resistant properties exceed the ones of bronze, copper, bimetals, textolite, fluoroplastics and various polyamides 2-10x. Also, they are
2-10x cheaper than similar materials.

Superior antifriction characteristics
Details manufactured using Oxafen OPM-94 and Oxafen in terms of wear resistance and working load significantly exceed details made of bronze, сopper, bimetals, textolite, fluoroplastics and various polyamides by 2-10 times.
Stable performance in various settings
— Both wet and dry friction
— In mediums with high content of various abrasives, mineral oils, petroleum products
— In mediums in a range of 4,5 ≤ рН ≤ 8.
High working temperature range
Our materials' working properties are preserved in the temperature range of 100°С to +250 °С (up to 300°С in short-term).
    High load resistance
    Our materials are resistant to bearing pressure up to 1800 kg/cm^2.
    Wear reduction
    An important advantage of Oxafen OPM94 and Oxafens when working in frictional units is that it reduces the wear of adjoined counterface.
    Do not require lubricants
    When working in settings of dry friction, the bearings manufactured using our materials do not require lubricant, and therefore do not require additional rotating-through, lubricator feed, or unit sealing.

    Fields of application
    Oil drilling equipment
    Oxafen OPM-94 ensures good run-in of thrust washers and as a consequence, effective sealing of the discharge chamber of the pump; improves reliability and useful life of the washer itself and runner as a whole, and allows to use pumps in wells with high solid particle content in the fluid (high abrasive particles content in the pumped medium).

    Blades of rotary compressors
    Oxafen OPM-94 blades are used in various dry and oil-filled rotary compressors in agriculture, utility sector, printing industry, cement production, and other industries. Oxafen OPM-94 rotary pump blades are made as a plate with rounded, flat, or other sliding surface.

    Construction machines
    Oxafen inserts are used in various components of construction machines: crane boom suspension assemblies, bearings of transverse motion sliders of attachments and safety couplings of gears of chain excavators, backhoe loaders, etc. Bench tests and subsequent long-term performance tests confirmed the advantages of using Oksafen and Oksafen OPM-94 composite materials for making bushings instead of bronze.

    Tracked vehicles
    Based on positive results of long-term performance tests, Oxafen composite material was recommended for manufacture of bulldozer track roller inserts; other applications of this material for anti-friction components in tractor vehicles are being considered.

    We produced guide shoes for elevator in the Bolshoi Theatre. They were installed in 2011 and still working while guide shoes made from traditional materials were breaking down once in 7 days.

    Baseplate assembly protective element and liners for a friction wedge in the trolley of a cargo railway car
    We partnered up with Russian railways to install our bearings into their trolleys. After more than 2.5 mln kilometers of exploitation, the wear of our details was around 1 mm. It helped to reduce maintenance costs, increase the reliability of the braking and suspension systems.
